The Lesson |

The lesson runs around 30-45 minutes and focuses on all aspects of musicianship. This includes WHAT to play (songs. chords, scales, theory) and HOW to play (posture, tone, touch, mental state.)
No experience necessary, Any age can learn.
The focus will be on Jazz piano, with this also comes an understanding of rock, pop, the blues, and all other types of music.

Live lessons are offered via Skype web chat, and you can learn just as quickly and easily as in person. Some students actually prefer learning in the comfort of their own home, even in their pajamas!

Herbie Hancock, piano and synthesizers.
Herbie Hancock got his start playing in Miles Davis’ band. After playing for a while in one of Miles’ most successful bands, he went on to lead his own for a while. Herbie embraced synthesizers and funk and is well known for his playing on the Rhodes piano. His bassline for the song Chameleon can be recognized instantly. |
Bill Evans, piano.
Bill is widely known as one of the best pianists to ever play jazz. He got his break with Miles Davis and played on “Kind of Blue”, the highest selling jazz album of all time. Bill constantly changed how he played songs, and never played a song the same way once! Bill Evans’ left hand could seamlessly switch styles . |
