Bird was the greatest saxophone player of all time. He created bebop along with Dizzy Gillespie. Music was not the same after Bird. His lines are beautifully melodic and fast. They are packed with feeling and emotion. Charlie had his own sound, no matter what saxophone he used. One might practice their whole life and never play as well as Bird. |
Keith Jarrett, piano.
Possibly the best pianist to ever live in the history of humanity. Keith is well known for long, extended, and amazing improvisations. Keith says he does not have any any pre-conception of what he is going to play and that he just opens himself up to the music to flow through him. Keith likes to play with a trio and solo. |
